A FREE pattern for you. I designed this cupcake to be tested as a cat toy. Catnip was added along with the fiberfill stuffing, but my kitty did not like it. I changed the stuffing to small dried peas, and it works great as a pin cushion.
This free pattern is easy to follow with just a few steps to complete the cupcake top and the base. It is a great pattern to learn to crochet in the round. Once you get the hang of it, you will make more. Just add fiberfill stuffing for a kids toy.
Single crochet, double crochet and chains are the stitches used. Chocolate brown yarn for the base, bright colors for the top, H crochet hook, darning needle fiberfill stuffing, peas, beans or rice and scissors. Can also be used as a stress ball, hard day at work, squeeze the cupcake to feel better.
