Quick Knit Fingerless Mitts by Kathy Bartholomew
Here is a quick to knit pattern for fingerless mitts. All you need to know is how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off. These can be made quickly, within a few hours. They are knit flat, then you stitch the side seams together, leaving 1 inch open for thumb hole.
Once you get the hand of it, you will be able to make these in no time. They make great holiday gifts and can be made larger or smaller by adding more rows, adding more stitches at the cast on (multiple of 4 stitches) or decreasing the stitches.
You can even change the needle size if using thinner yarn, i.e. worsted weight yarn with US9 or US10 needles, adding more stitches to cast on.
You may sell items made from this pattern, but please do not post the pattern. Feel free to share photos of your items on social media with the hashtags #yarnkat #quickknit #fingerlessgloves
